Echinocereus rigidissimus ssp. rubispinus   L088 - Northern Sonora, Mexico / Zone 7  
Single 2 1/2" wide tall cylindrical  stems with tiny tight hugging violet purple red spines. Huge lavender pink flowers with white centers. One of the most popular small barrel cactus in the world.

Lives up to it's name that Horst Kuenzler gave it years ago. “Fox Tail”  Cylindrical single stems with dense needle spines in mainly bright violet red. Echinocereus triglochidiatus X baileyi Hybrid / Zone 4~ This is a E. trig. Alamosa Co. Colorado mother, with a E. baileyi. This plants spines look like they are about half way in between the two. Flower not seen yet, but hoping for a larger than normal reddish pink. Should be hardy as nails.

Echinocereus triglochidiatus Manzano Mts. NM / Zone 5~ Semi-clumping almost flabby stems which carry one to four spines per areole. The mother shown of these young plants carries a rare cherry red flower with light center.

Echinocereus triglochidiatus San Miguel Co. NM/ Zone 5 ~ Semi-clumping plants which look similar to the Manzano form, but a little shorter, and the spines are lighter horn colored. Also has between one to four spines per areole. Flowers a beautiful scarlet color.
